This publication is a Service Manual covering the specifications, construction, theory of operation, and maintenance of the Brother machine MFC-9700/MFC-9760/MFC-9800/MFC-9860/MFC-9880/DCP-1400 (MFC 9700/MFC 9760/MFC 9800/MFC 9860/MFC 9880/DCP 1400). It includes information required for field troubleshooting and repair--disassembly, reassembly, and lubrication--so that service personnel will be able to understand machine function, to rapidly repair the machine and order any necessary spare parts.
